SDAB Search Field Definitions

SDAB Number: 

This is a sequential number that is assigned to each SDAB appeal.  It also defines the year in which the appeal was received, e.g., SDAB 2001-0001 was received in 2001.

DP Number: 

This is a sequential number that is assigned to each Development Permit (DP) application.  It also defines the year in which the DP was received, e.g., DP2002-0001 was received in 2002.

Appeal Type: 

Relates to the type of application that is under appeal. There are three classifications of appeals:

  • Development Permit – an appeal may be filed on an approval, conditions of approval or refusal of a development permit.
  • Subdivision Application – an appeal may be filed on a refusal or conditions of approval of a subdivision application.
  • Order – refers to an Order issued by The City of Calgary Development Authority to cease an activity or to remove/modify something that is not in compliance with the Land Use Bylaw.
