Mounted Unit
The highly skilled officers and horses of the Mounted Unit are an important part of the Calgary Police Service.
The Mounted Unit patrols Calgary's bike paths, roadways, parks, and even in the streets of downtown. Although prestigious in appearance, the Mounted Unit's role is not just for show - they play an essential role in the Service, fighting crime and acting as ambassadors of good will to the citizens and visitors of Calgary.
