Half Marathon & 5k Run & Walk Route Map
The 21.1 kilometre and 5 kilometre routes starts and ends at:
Mount Royal College, 4825 Mt. Royal Gate S.W., Calgary, AB
PLEASE NOTE
- Changes to registrations will only be allowed at race package pick-up. No changes to shirt sizes will be allowed under any circumstances.
- Please ensure bib numbers are worn on front and are visible by race marshalls
- No baby joggers, cyclists, rollerblades, support vehicles or pets along the Half Marathon route
- Baby joggers are only be allowed for the 5k Run & Walk event
- CAUTION race route narrows in some areas
- Water stations are located at the 5km, 10 km, and 16 km for Half Marathon participants and at the finish line for all
- Race route closed at 10:30 – any remaining participants move to a safe location along the side of the route
- In 2006 a $10,000.00 donation was given to the Alberta Special Olympics with continued support in 2007
- The Calgary Police Half Marathon used the Champion Chip to provide accurate individual runner times (chip timing for Half Marathon participants only)
- No dogs on MRC Campus
- No bikes in MRC buildings
