Child Identification Program will provide families with practical information which will assist authorities should a child go missing. Parents/guardians are encouraged to keep an up-to-date record of each child including fingerprints, recent photograph and descriptive details, as well as the names and phone numbers of the family doctor, dentist and friends.

Our intention is to provide a photograph and fingerprints of the child along with pertinent documentation which will be filled out by the parent/guardian. The program will provide a photograph and fingerprints which will be permanently affixed to a laminated identification card. The identification card will be kept in the possession of the parent/guardian. (We will not be keeping any record of the child’s fingerprints or photos on file, extra photos will be given to the parents)

This volunteer run program has been funded by Imperial Oil who gratefully donated some cash to set up the program. We were also the beneficiaries of some equipment from a similar program at Silversprings.
