One officer is assigned to identify stolen property and match it to victims of crime. The officer liases closely with second-hand stores, pawnshops, the Break and Enter Detail and Business Watch International.
Business Liaison Unit

Businesses benefit from the work of the Business Liaison Program in several ways. Volunteers collect and maintain current information from businesses, and this information is then included in the database. Volunteers and district members discuss issues with the business owners and managers and share possible solutions with them.
Some of the Business Liaison Program initiatives are:
- Personal Safety Presentation
- Identity Theft Prevention Presentatio
- Traveling Alone Safety Presentation
- Electronic Crime Alert System with approximately 700+ businesses registered
- Facilitate Biz Crime training sessions regarding counterfeit currency
