Come out and see Calgary’s most talented youth bands show off their musical prowess as they battle it out for the top prizes which include 8 hours of recording time provided by Beach Audio, an appearance on X92.9 FM, prize packages from AXE Music, Industry Images, West 49 and The New Black Label and many more prizes! In addition to great music, this year's event will feature Pro Skateboard demos, The Flowriders (the most amazing bike show on earth), a Youth Resource Fair, plus a ton of other activities including Eurobungee, rock-climbing, and other cool stuff. This year it will be held at the Amphitheatre of Canada Olympic Park's main building, it's a prime opportunity to listen to experienced as well as up and coming musicians from Calgary and area. Head on out to C.O.P. on Aug. 16, 2008 to catch some sunshine and awesome music – FREE! The Emcee for Toast ‘N’ Jam will be Darren Ollinger. Darren is the lead singer of the band 'Colin Decker Free Fall’ and Co-creator of The New Black Label. Darren is also the host of 'Project Punk' on X92.9 FM. Also enjoy guest appearances by The Matt Blais Connection and Michael Bernard Fitzgerald. The event is presented with support from AXE Music.
