             CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE

On 09/11/06 at approximately 14:30 hrs the Calgary Police
Service was requested to assist the Calgary Fire Department
at an address in the Foothills Industrial area.  Upon arrival
at the scene a very large grow op was located consisting of
over 1500 plants at various stages of growth valued in excess
of 2 million dollars.  

There have been no arrests at this time however the
investigation is continuing by Dist 6 GIU.
