Calgary – Beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 13, the two right-hand southbound lanes on Crowchild Trail between 33 Avenue S.W. and Flanders Avenue S.W. will be closed for ENMAX cable work. The lanes are scheduled to re-open by 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 13. Motorists are asked to observe all traffic controls advising of the lane closures. Southbound traffic will be limited to 50 kilometres per hour during this period. Delays are expected. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes or alter their travel times whenever possible to avoid delays. Northbound traffic on Crowchild Trail will remain unaffected during this period. These lane closures will be repeated on Sunday, September 20 pending weather conditions and the progress of the ENMAX crews on September 13. The crews will make every effort to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner with the least possible amount of disruption and inconvenience to the public.
