As part of Transportation Infrastructure’s road construction
projects, the following lane restrictions are necessary on
Thursday, July 23:

Northwest

*NEW*
• The ramp from westbound Country Hills Boulevard to
northbound Shaganappi Trail is closed from 6 a.m. until 4
p.m. for paving.  At the same time, northbound Shaganappi
Trail will be reduced to one lane between Country Hills
Boulevard and Hidden Valley Drive.  To access northbound
Shaganappi Trail, motorists can turn right at the
intersection of Country Hills Boulevard and Shaganappi Trail.
 Major delays are expected.  

• Beddington Trail will be reduced to one lane daily between
Harvest Hills Boulevard and Deerfoot Trail from Wednesday,
July 22 at 9 a.m. until Monday, August 31, excluding Sundays
for road construction.  Delays are expected.

*ONGOING*
• Country Hills Boulevard between Beddington Trail and
Country Hills Drive will be reduced to one lane in both
directions until Monday, July 27 at 5 a.m. for construction. 
Delays are expected.

• The right lane on westbound 16 Avenue North will be closed
between 1 Street and 2 Street N.W. until Friday, July 31 for
sidewalk construction.  Two westbound lanes on 16 Avenue
North will remain open.  Delays are expected.

Southeast

*UPCOMING*
• The right lane on eastbound Glenmore Trail east of Deerfoot
Trail will be closed July 25 and 26 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for
paving.  Delays are expected.

• 114 Avenue SE will be closed in both directions between 52
Street SE and 68 Street SE from Saturday, July 25 at 7 a.m.
until Monday, July 27 at 10 p.m. for storm pond construction.
 Access to Shepard Sanitary Landfill will be maintained via
52 Street SE.  Motorists can access businesses on 114 Avenue
SE via the signed detour. 

*NEW*
• The right lane on eastbound Glenmore Trail east of Deerfoot
Trail will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for construction.
 Delays are expected.

*ONGOING*
• The ramp from northbound Deerfoot Trail to eastbound
Glenmore Trail is closed until Sunday, July 26 at 12 a.m. for
construction. Delays are expected.  Motorists are encouraged
to follow detours signs provided.

Northeast

*ONGOING*
• The left lane on eastbound 16 Avenue North will be closed
between Centre Street and 6 Street N.E. until early August
for road and median construction.  Two eastbound lanes on 16
Avenue North will remain open.  Delays are expected.

Southwest

*ONGOING*
• 7 Street S.W. is closed for half a block between 7 Avenue
S.W. and 6 Avenue S.W. until 9 a.m. Friday, July 24. for
underground utility work.  Motorists driving southbound on 7
Street S.W. past 7 Avenue S.W. must exit via 5 Avenue S.W. or
6 Avenue S.W.  Access to the parkade at the Nexen building,
between 7 Avenue S.W. and 8 Avenue S.W. will be provided via
a temporary two-way traffic set-up.  Delays are expected.
