A Crime Stoppers re-enactment will take place on Tuesday,
April 28, 2009, at 10 a.m., to encourage members of the
public to come forward with information relating to a
homicide that occurred in August 2007.

Tara Anne LANDGRAF, 37, was found deceased at approximately 5
a.m., on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at the intersection of Burns
Avenue and Alexander Street S.E., in Ramsay.

When police arrived at the scene they discovered her body
partially clothed.  

Although cries were heard in the area, these were not
reported to police at the time of the incident. 

An autopsy determined that she died as a result of a
stabbing.

Extensive investigations since her murder have eliminated a
number of potential suspects. 

Investigators now believe that the victim and the offender
knew each other and are seeking public assistance to identify
the suspect.

In December 2008, police distributed approximately 100 Crime
Stoppers flyers in the area of Ramsay in an attempt to
encourage potential witnesses to come forward. At this time,
no one has contacted police or Crime Stoppers.
