Today (April 26) at 5:03 pm, fire crews responded to several
911 calls for a garage on fire in the 2000 block of Centre
Street north.

Crews arrived in less than two minutes and found a working
fire, which was quickly knocked down. 

Due to the quick action of fire dispatch and the responding
crews, the damage was contained to the structure and all the
contents were saved. Enmax crews were called in to ensure the
safety of the power lines which were deemed safe.

Investigators remain on scene to determine the cause.
