At 1110 hours police responded to a complaint of a rollover
collision at Spruce Meadows Trail and James McKevitt Road
S.w.

On arrival a late model Ford F150 was observed on its roof at
the SW quadrant of the intersection.  A late model Hummer was
facing northbound across the two westbound lanes. 
Information provided by witnessess indictaed the Hummer
proceeded south on Jmaes McKevitt Road across the westbound
lanes of Spruce Meadows Trail also referred to as Highway
22X.  The Ford F150 strcuk the driver side of the Hummer and
then rolled into SW ditch/boulvard.  CFD and EMS were also
scene.  A mid 50's male, lone occupant of the F150 was
transported by EMS to hospital but despite treatment by
medics expired enroute to hospital.  The mid 30's lone male
occupant of the Hummer was transported to hospital by EMS
with non life threatening injuries.

The incident has been assigned to members of the Traffic
Section for investigation.  The intersection will be closed
to all traffic for at least three hours while measurements
and evidence are gathered.
