Calgary, AB – May 9, 2008		
For immediate release

As part of Transportation Infrastructure’s road construction
projects, the following lane restrictions are necessary on
Monday, May 12, 2008:


Northwest

*ONGOING*
• Country Hills Boulevard will be closed each weeknight from
8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Beddington Trail and Country Hills
Drive until May 13 for girder installation.  Major delays are
expected and motorists should use alternate routes.

• The left lane on 16 Avenue North will be closed in both
directions between 6 Street N.W. and Centre Street until the
end of May for median work.  Delays are expected.

• There will be no access to Crowchild Trail from Crowfoot
Rise for intersection construction. The right-out from
Crowfoot Rise to westbound Crowchild Trail will re-open in
early July, and the right-in from westbound Crowchild Trail
to Crowfoot Rise will re-open in early September.

Southwest

*NEW*
• The left lane on westbound Glenmore Trail will be closed at
Crowchild Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for landscaping. 

*ONGOING*
• The right lane on westbound Bow Trail will be closed
between 45 Street S.W. and Sarcee Trail from 6 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. daily until the end of May.  Delays are expected and
motorists should use alternate routes. 

• There will be lane closures at the intersection of Macleod
Trail and Southland Drive weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
until mid-July for intersection improvements.
