The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a
shooting that occurred yesterday in the northwest.

Investigators are working to notify the victim's next of kin,
but this has not yet occurred.

Police can confirm cause of death was the result of multiple
gunshot wounds.

Police will be available to speak with the media as soon as
the victim's identity has been confirmed. This will likely
occur later today. The media will be advised via citybeat.
