             CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE

This afternoon at approximately 1:45 pm, The City of Calgary
Emergency Medical Services responded to Deercrest Close SE
for reports of a stabbing.  On scene, paramedics treated a 23
year old male who had been stabbed multiple times in his arms
and legs.  The man was transported to the hospital by EMS in
stable non life threatening condition.

The Calgary Police Service is investigating the incident.
