As part of Transportation Infrastructure’s road construction
projects, the following lane restrictions are necessary on
Friday, May 2, 2008:


Northeast

*NEW*
• The left lane on eastbound McKnight Boulevard will be
closed at 36 Street N.E. from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

• Westbound McKnight Boulevard will be reduced to one lane at
36 Street  N.E. from 9 a.m. until 7 pm. 

Northwest

*NEW*
• Country Hills Boulevard will be closed between Beddington
Trail and Country Hills Drive from 8 p.m. Friday evening
until 5 a.m. Saturday morning for girder installation.  Major
delays are expected and motorists should use alternate
routes.

*ONGOING*
• The left lane on westbound and eastbound 16 Avenue North
will be closed between 6 Street N.W. and Centre Street until
the end of May for median work.  Delays are expected.

• There will be no access to Crowchild Trail to or from
Crowfoot Rise for intersection construction. The right-out
from Crowfoot Rise to westbound Crowchild Trail will re-open
in early July, and the right-in from westbound Crowchild
Trail to Crowfoot Rise will re-open in early September.

Southwest

*ONGOING*
•  There will be daily lane closures at the intersection of
Macleod Trail and Southland Drive weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. until mid-July for intersection improvements.
