             CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE

Calgary - The 53rd Street ramp leading to eastbound Crowchild
Trail will be closed between the hours of 9:30 p.m. on
Thursday, February 27 until 12:30 a.m. on Friday February 28,
2003. This closure is required in order to repair
streetlights in the area.

Motorists are advised that eastbound Crowchild Trail can be
accessed by travelling north on 53rd Street to eastbound John
Laurie Boulevard, and then south on Shaganappi Trail to
eastbound Crowchild Trail.   

The Transportation Project Office apologizes for this
inconvenience, and thanks motorists for their patience and
understanding during the construction of this station.
